Every character has a separate gauge, and the game says that it builds up as characters are hit - I'm assuming that a hit directly on a character will increase the gauge by quite a bit, while hits on other characters will only increase it a little. Revenge Mode sounds incredibly powerful (all skills get their SP use temporarily set to 1!) but I'm a little unclear on how it works.

Being able to use an item and perform another action in the same turn could be very useful in some situations.
